Question 1 : How long before my structured beanbag needs a refill?
Answer : It depends on the frequency of use. On average, a micro-bead filled beanbag may need a refill after about one year of using. It also depends on your personal preference of course. Some people prefer a somewhat softer beanbag and even remove a slight bit of filling right after purchase.

Question 2 : Can i wash my structured bean bag?
Answer : Our structured bean bag collection can only be spot cleaned and can not be washed. To avoid spot fading or a circular residue ring which is common while spot cleaning please ensure you are using a gentle cleaning agent diluted with water and follow basic guidelines for spot cleaning as mentioned here.

Question 3 : What do structured beanbags use as filling and how is this different from other beanbags?
Answer : The filling used in sensory products consists of a special high quality manufactured EPS (expanded polystyrene) pearl. Most beanbags make use of big recycled EPS flakes, made from shredded insulation sheet or used package material which air out very fast. The micro-beans in sensory bean bags being tiny take more time to air out and allows greater comfort and improves durability.

Question 4 : Does this bean bag come pre-filled?
Answer : The bean bag will arrive unfilled and the beans will be delivered separately. This is done for for safe, easy & economical shipping. A simple DIY assembly will be required. We have designed an easy spill free method for filling our bean bags for which the instructions are mentioned above. Also each unit arrived with a printed set of filling instructions for your reference.

EVERYDAY CARE TIPS
If your fabric thread becomes loose, simply cut it off. Do not pull it. Dust is best removed using your hand vacuum with the appropriate attachment. Avoid harsh brushing and sharp objects (rings, buckles, toys) as it may cause snagging of threads. To avoid your sofa from fading, it is best not to expose it to direct sunlight. For best safety, Your furniture should be placed at least 50cm away from any heat source.

Like anything in life problems can occasionally occur. If seam splits or tearing occur with reasonable wear and time – please check with our team if that is covered under statutory warranty.
